Our advice - emergency stockpile
Consumer goods and food supplies are distributed through efficient distribution channels all over the world. If the most essential means of transport are interrupted for instance through blocked road or traffic accidents or other form of hazards, great areas are confronted with a considerable supply crisis. For that reason it is advisable to have an emergency stockpile at home. In order to take precautions for possible emergency situations, emergency food packs can help to control and face difficult and challenging situations.
The always changing environment and the increase of disasters could result in supply interruptions all over the world. We advise to set up an emergency stockpile, which will last for several weeks. This can be realised by normal canned food, which need to be replaced at regular intervals, or with an emergency stockpile which will last for a very long time. Our Emergency food packs are excellent suitable for these purposes and help us to control emergency situations. We advise our Emergency stockpile, which can be stored in your home environment, guaranteed for at least 15 years.
Emergency food is made durable without preservatives. This principle has been developed even before World War I, a technic which basically has not been changed since. After all kind of quality checks of the ingredients, freeze-drying and vacuum evaporation technics, the foods are guaranteed with an impeccable quality and a long shelf life.
The freeze-drying method is well known, for instance with the instant coffee procedure. The colour, taste and structure of food and most of the nutritional values are maintained and guaranteed. The frozen food ingredients are transferred into a vacuum chamber, the frozen water will be transformed from the solid to the vapour state. The water will be removed from the food. The food will lose 90% of its weight and 30-90% of its volume, which will depend from the different sort of food. During the canning procedure, the oxygen is replaced by nitrogen. After this procedure the food is watertight and airtight sealed. The quality and freshness of the canned food will be guaranteed for many years. The preparation of the emergency food is simple and quick with the use of warm water, or if warm water is not available even with cold water. The original texture is maintained, with all its freshness and its taste.
